By accessing the “Guitar Geek Academy” website, (hereby “Our Website”), you agree to be bound by these terms and conditions (“Terms”) and our Privacy Policy. “Guitar Geek Academy” offers through this website live one-on-one video guitar lessons and online courses.

PRICES

All lesson fees are due before the lesson.

These are the prices for the services available (guitar lessons) on the website:

“Guitar Geek Academy” reserves the right to determine pricing for the services (guitar lessons). “Guitar Geek Academy” will make reasonable efforts to keep pricing information published on the website up to date. We encourage you to check our website periodically for current pricing information. “Guitar Geek Academy” may change the fees for any service or package, including additional fees or charges. “Guitar Geek Academy”, at its sole discretion, may make promotional offers with different features and different pricing to any of its users.

PAYMENTS

All payments to “Guitar Geek Academy” are handled securely. Services will be paid through “Stripe” and “PayPal” (payment platforms available on “Guitar Geek Academy”). Payment will be debited from your credit card, debit card, bank account, or PayPal account immediately upon placing the order for the service you have purchased. Upon processing a transaction, we will issue you an electronic transaction receipt, which will be sent to the email address you provide. Once payment is received, you will be sent the link for the lesson or services you have purchased.

DISCLOSURE

By contracting the services of “Guitar Geek Academy”, you accept personal responsibility for the results. You agree that “Guitar Geek Academy” has not guaranteed the results of taking any action, whether or not it is recommended on this website. “Guitar Geek Academy” provides educational and informational resources designed to improve your ability with the guitar and music. However, you acknowledge that your ultimate success or failure will be the result of your own efforts, your particular situation, and countless other circumstances that are beyond the control of “Guitar Geek Academy”.

ACCOUNT AND SECURITY

If you register on “Guitar Geek Academy”, you will be required to choose a password and username, and you may be asked for additional information regarding your account. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your password and account information and are fully responsible for all activities that occur under your password or account. You agree to:

  • Immediately notify “Guitar Geek Academy” of any unauthorized use of your password or account or any other breach of security.
  • Ensure that you log out from your account at the end of each session.

You may never use another user’s account without prior authorization from “Guitar Geek Academy”. “Guitar Geek Academy” will not be liable for any loss or damage arising from your failure to comply with this agreement.

ACCOUNT INACTIVITY  AND TERMINATION

To ensure efficient resource management and maintain an active user base, Guitar Geek Academy may deactivate or delete accounts that remain inactive for an extended period.

Definition of Inactivity

An account is considered inactive if there has been no login or course usage for a continuous period of 6 months.

Notification Process

  • Users will be notified via the email address associated with their account at least 30 days before their account is subject to deletion.
  • A final reminder may be sent 7 days prior to the deletion date.

Impact of Account Deletion

  • Once an account is deleted, all associated data, including progress, preferences, and saved content, will be permanently removed.
  • Deleted accounts cannot be recovered.

Exceptions

Accounts with active paid subscriptions or ongoing transactions will not be subject to deletion due to inactivity.

User Responsibility

  • It is the user’s responsibility to ensure their contact information is accurate and up-to-date.
  • Guitar Geek Academy is not responsible for missed notifications due to outdated or incorrect email addresses.

Voluntary Termination by User

Users may terminate their accounts at any time, for any reason, by following the instructions provided on the Guitar Geek Academy platform. Termination will result in the deletion of the account and all personal data provided to Guitar Geek Academy.

Guitar Geek Academy reserves the right to terminate your account or restrict access immediately, with or without notice, and without liability to you, if it believes:

  • You have breached any of these terms.
  • You have provided false or misleading information.
  • You have interfered with the use of the platform by others.

THIRD-PARTY MATERIALS

“Third-Party Materials” means any content, images, videos, texts, or other material that is owned by a third party, such as stock images, videos, and texts. Such Third-Party Materials are subject to the applicable third-party terms and licenses and may only be used as permitted by such terms and licenses.

RESALE OF SERVICES
